B Corp Brands on Shopify

One of the best ways brands can show their commitment to high social and environmental standards is through achieving B Corp certification. Certified B Corps are committed to balancing profit with purpose, aiming to create positive impacts for workers, communities, and the environment.

To achieve this certification, companies must undergo a rigorous assessment and meet criteria across various areas such as governance, sustainability, and employee welfare. The movement promotes using business as a force for good, advocating for ethical practices and long-term societal benefits.

An organisation dating back 200 years, the RNLI is a lifesaving charity on a mission to save lives at sea. They work directly by rescuing stranded sailors or supporting people impacted by floods. RNLI also work to promote educational content around water safety.

In 2022 dryrobe launched their partnership supporting the RNLI. As part of their B-Corp Certification, they continue to donate £1 from every sale to the lifesaving cause

Dedicated to protecting the rich natural heritage of Sussex, the Sussex Wildlife Trust works to conserve local wildlife and wild places for present and future generations. It manages over 30 nature reserves, engages in habitat restoration, and runs education programs aimed at fostering a deeper connection between people and nature.

Sutsu

Sutsu is a British brand focused on creating sustainable, high-quality clothing made from certified organic cotton and recycled materials. Established in 2004, the company emphasizes environmental responsibility through the use of eco-friendly materials and a commitment to minimizing waste with its "made to order" approach.

Using Virtue's store giving features, Sutsu ran a campaign donating to SeaTrees, an environmental initiative focused on restoring ocean ecosystems through the planting of mangrove trees, kelp forests, and coral reefs. The organization enables individuals and companies to contribute to various reforestation and marine conservation projects, with the goal of mitigating climate change and supporting coastal communities worldwide.
