About the Cause
Clean drinking water is an essential human right that underpins health, sanitation, and food security. Yet, over 2 billion people worldwide lack access to safe drinking water, a stark reality that highlights the urgent need to address the global water crisis.
The quality and availability of clean drinking water has long been been jeopardised by pollution, overexploitation, and climate change. In addition, poor industrial and agricultural practices have exacerbated the water scarcity that disproportionately affects marginalised communities.
Virtue Clean Water Projects support organisations to provide access to clean, safe, and sustainable drinking water sources for people in need.
